Work Fire

Last Sunday the building connected to the building I work in caught on fire. It was kind of amazing how they even noticed the building was on fire. The newspaper said that at 1:56 a.m. two police officers noticed water running down the side of the building from the roof (snow melting in -10 degrees F.) When they got close, they noticed the smoke smell. The firefighters spent over 10 hours trying to put the fire out. After a few hours they realized the other building would be a total loss, but they fought really hard to save our building. Our building did not burn down, but there is severe smoke damage and we have been temporarily relocated while our building is being cleaned. Check out the pictures from the Fire Chief's wife:

My building is to the left

This is just a cool picture of the old fashioned fire truck

This view is from the back parking lot. It kind of looks like my building is on fire.
Back of the building; crashing down into a pile.
Thanks to the firefighters who worked so hard to save our building!

that is intense! was it an old building? it looks like it was a neat building and i am always sad when that happens because a little piece of cool architectual history is gone and they will replace it with a lame run of the mill building instead. extremely glad your building received only minor injury. love you large.
